The PE's Advocate to
Government
 During PE Day on the Hill, NSPE members visited more than 100
congressional offices to discuss engineering issues.
Lobbied successfully for increased funding for clean and safe
water infrastructure bills.
Lobbied successfully for inclusion of a $450 million unified
block grant for Math and Science Partnerships.
Lobbied successfully for passage of comprehensive energy
legislation in the House and Senate, consistent with NSPE's energy
position statement.
Created the U.S. Agency Advisory Group of top federal agency
engineering managers.
