News in Brief; Report: Local health centers facing crisis
BODY:
A report on "troublesome financial trends" at
the state's community health centers is due to be released
today.
The report, compiled by the Massachusetts League of Community
Health Centers, says not enough attention has been paid to the
"struggling" centers that provide health care to low-income
patients, including those on Medicaid and the uninsured.
The East Boston Neighborhood Health Center,
the largest in the state, recently emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
