SUMMARY:
Committee Serial No. 106-16. Hearing before the Subcom on Department Operations, Oversight, Nutrition, and Forestry to review USDA and EPA implementation of the Food Quality Protection Act (FQPA) of 1996, which revises Federal pesticide regulatory programs by replacing the Delaney clause with a single negligible risk assessment-based standard applicable to tolerances of pesticide residues in raw and processed foods, and by facilitating registration of pesticides for low-volume use on minor crops.
