- COMPLIANCE WORKSHOP
We have scheduled a workshop to address
the implementation of Tier 2 emission requirements for light duty
vehicles, light duty trucks and medium duty passenger
vehicles.
The workshop will be held Wednesday May 3, 2000 at
10:00, at the Washtenaw Community College east of Ann Arbor in the
Morris J. Lawrence Building. We have reserved the meeting room
for the entire day but the length of the workshop will depend on the
number and complexity of issues raised. A map to Washtenaw
Community College is available at http://www.epa.gov/otaq/ld-hwy.htm#cap2k.
We
plan to give a brief overview of the Tier 2 regulations, and to
discuss certification procedures for early opt-in. However, the
main focus of the workshop will be to answer your questions about
implementing Tier 2. We therefore request that you submit your
questions in advance to John Guy as soon as possible (guy.john@epa.gov). We will
take questions from the floor at the end of the workshop, time
permitting, but to ensure that we can get to your questions, we prefer
that you send them to John ahead of time.
