Business Leaders Partcipate in "Death Tax" Press
Conference
May 26,1999 Washington, D.C. - The following business
leaders today called for Congress to put an end to estate taxes - or
"death taxes" - during a 9:30 a.m. press conference at the National Press
Club. Many told personal stories of how their businesses were affected by
this tax, which unfairly penalizes minority and family-owned businesses,
while making only minuscule contributions to the federal coffers.
