SUMMARY:
Hearing to consider S. 25, the
Conservation and Reinvestment Act of 1999, to direct the
Department of Interior to redistribute a portion of Outer Continental Shelf
(OCS) oil and gas leasing royalties to State and local governments for coastal
impact assistance, Land and Water Conservation Fund park and
recreation programs, and fish and wildlife conservation
programs.
