• Sub District Offices will do a final mailing of letters on April 27^th and 28^th. Make sure that all letters have been delivered to the Sub District Office by the 27^th.

• In order for your Local to get credit for participation in this action, your letters should be in your Sub District Office by April 27^th and your total reported to your District Rapid Response Coordinator by that date.

• There are still Congresspersons that claim to be undecided on "PNTR" and the Local Unions in their targeted areas have been contacted to put extra pressure on them:

If you are a member of one of these locals, please understand the importance of your participation in any targeted activities organized by your District Rapid Response Coordinator. This vote will be close and we need to win.

• May 4^th will be a National Fax Day. Be sure that you have the fax number of your Congressperson handy. It is in the Congressional Handbook or call your District RR Coordinator for the information. These faxes will go out to targeted Congresspersons so watch for the upcoming list to see if your legislator is included.

• Sample faxes and instructions will be sent to all Local Unions. There will be a different message for Democrats and Republicans. Expect a "Fast Fax" information piece later this week.
