SUMMARY:
Hearing to examine issues involved in the reauthorization of Department of
Education compensatory education assistance programs for low-income and
disadvantaged elementary and secondary students under Title I,
Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) of
1965, which were most recently reauthorized and revised under the Improving
America's Schools Act (IASA) of 1994.
