SUMMARY:
Hearing to review implementation of the Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities (SDFSC) program funded under Elementary and Secondary Education Act Title IV, the Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act, which provides Federal grants to States and localities for school-based substance abuse and violence prevention programs for children and adolescents.
 
Also considers Administration proposal for reauthorization of the SDFSC program.
