Please write two separate letters.

The Honorable Dennis Hastert

H-232 Capitol Building
Washington, DC 20515

The Honorable Trent Lott
Senate Majority Leader

Read ATA's call to action

As you know, this amendment was passed with bipartisan support in both the House and Senate. More importantly, this provision will prevent the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) from moving forward with an unscientific regulation that will cost the trucking industry alone $6 billion dollars annually.

As you conclude your negotiations over the federal budget, please consider the devastating effect OSHA's proposed ergonomics regulations will have on American businesses and their workers. Again, I strongly urge you to include the Northup/Enzi ergonomics amendment in any final budget agreement.

Sincerely,
