 Civil Legal Assistance Grant Program FY 2000 DELAWARE Community Legal Aid Society, Inc. Wilmington, DE AWARD AMOUNT: $190,000 DURATION: 18 months PURPOSE: Community Legal Aid Society, Inc., in collaboration with Legal Services Corporation of Delaware and Peoples Place II, will continue to provide a comprehensive delivery system of free civil legal services available to domestic violence victims in Kent and Sussex Counties. The project will continue to reach underserved residents in rural areas, including members of the Latino community, and will provide expanded legal assistance to domestic violence victims in civil matters directly resulting from the abuse, including bankruptcy, family law, landlord/tenant, and consumer problems.
