Partial-birth abortion equals infanticide and fetal tissue profits!

In a letter telling congress why partial birth abortion should be banned without exception, ALL president Judie Brown points out that eyewitness accounts of Partial- Birth abortion confirm that third-trimester infants are stabbed in the back of the head with scissors and their brains sucked out with a high-powered aspirator. "Therefore, the proposed bill should be a true ban," said Brown.

"The baby's body was moving," said Ohio nurse Brenda Pratt Shafer. "His little fingers were clasping together. He was kicking his feet. The doctor took a pair of scissors and inserted them into the back of the baby's head, and the baby's arms jerked out in a flinch, a startle reaction, like a baby does when he thinks that he might fall. Then the doctor opened the scissors up. Then he stuck the high-powered suction tube into the hole and sucked the baby's brains out. Now the baby was completely limp."

Brown tells senators that the "life of the mother" exception attached to the current partial- birth abortion bill is totally unnecessary. Brown quotes physicians who state there is never a situation where a direct abortion is necessary to save the life of a mother.

Finally, Brown explains the great financial interest abortion providers have in keeping partial-birth abortion legal. The method is the most popular and cost-effective way of procuring whole fetal cadavers, which are then distributed to pharmaceutical companies, research institutes and universities.

Included with the letter are copies of invoice orders for organs and body parts of aborted babies obtained by Life Dynamics, Inc. from Denton Texas. The invoices include those organizations that pay for fetal tissue services for research purposes—fetal tissue provided by Planned Parenthood.
