Held in 2000-2001
AAIA in partnership with its state
association allies has begun a series of meetings
with U.S. Representatives in their home districts.
These meetings are held in member facilities and
generally attract 30 - 40 industry
representatives. They provide a unique forum for
members of the aftermarket to personally educate
legislators about their industry and to acquaint
them with legislation that would guarantee
aftermarket access to the parts and information
necessary for repairing late-model vehicles.
