Trade Policy Staff Committee Consideration of Action with Regard to Certain Steel Products Under
Section 203 of the Trade Act of 1974

Notice: the documents below have been received pursuant to the request made by the Trade Policy Staff Committee (TPSC) in a notice published in the Federal Register on October 26, 2001.

In the Federal Register notice, the TPSC established a deadline of November 27, 2001 for filing comments on the product exclusion requests. This deadline has now been changed to December 5, 2001.

The Federal Register notice of October 26 also requested that persons filing written comments, requests, or other information provide the information by electronic mail and by U.S. mail. In the Federal Register, the TPSC requested that twenty copies of each document be sent by U.S. mail. The TPSC now requests that you send one copy by electronic mail, and only one copy by U.S. mail.

All documents sent by electronic mail should be transmitted as e-mail attachments with file names that contain the name of the entity submitting the information, (e.g., "smithsteelco.doc"). File names should also indicate if they are public documents, or whether they contain business confidential information by naming each file with a prefix of either "P" for public or "BC" for business confidential information. In addition, make submit more than one document, the file name for each document should be sequentially numbered (e.g., "P-smithsteelco-1.doc" or "BC-smithsteelco-2.doc").

A notice of these procedural changes will be posted in the Federal Register.
