 -   H.R. 865 -- Community Reinvestment Modernization Act of 2001 - A bill to expand the availability of financial services; to increase the ability of financial institutions to meet the capital and credit needs of underserved communities and populations; and to ensure that community reinvestment keeps pace with financial service providers.

 -   H.R. 951 -- To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to repeal the required use of certain principal repayments on mortgage subsidy bond financings to redeem bonds, and to modify the purchase price limitation under mortgage subsidy bond rules based on median family income.
 -   H.R. 989 --To direct the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development to carry out a three-year pilot program to assist law enforcement officers purchasing homes in locally-designated at-risk areas.
 -   H.R. 1051 -- To amend the Home Ownership and Equity Protection Act of 1994 and other sections of the Truth in Lending Act to protect consumers against predatory practices in connection with high cost mortgage transactions, and to strengthen the civil remedies available to consumers under existing law.

 -   H.R. 2637 -- To correct inequities in the second round of empowerment zones and enterprise communities.
 -   H.R. 2716 -- Homeless Veterans Assistance Act of 2001 - To amend title 38, United States Code, to revise, improve, and consolidate provisions of law providing benefits and services for homeless veterans. Signed into law on December 21, 2001, P.L. 107-95.
 -   H.R. 2753 -- Housing Affordability Assurance Act - To require a housing impact analysis of any new rule of a Federal agency that has an economic impact of $100,000,000 or more.
 -   H.R. 2796 -- Allows credit unions to become members of a Federal Home Loan Bank.
 -   H.R. 2834 -- To amend Section 526 of the National Housing Act to provide that any certification of a property for meeting energy efficiency requirements for mortgage insurance under such Act shall be conducted by an individual certified by an accredited home energy rating system provider.
 -   H.R. 2869 -- To provide certain relief for small businesses from liability under the Comprehension Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980, and to amend such Act to promote the cleanup and reuse of brownfields, to provide financial assistance for brownfields revitalization, and to enhance State response programs.  -   H.R. 2885 -- To provide for the transfer of certain real property by the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

 -   H.R. 5291 -- To amend the National Housing Act to authorize the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development to insure mortgages for the acquisition, construction, or substantial rehabilitation of child care and development facilities and to establish the Children's Development Commission (Kiddie Mac) to certify such facilities for such insurance, and for other purposes.
 -   H.R. 5339 -- To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to repeal the provision that limited the interest deduction on refinanced home mortgage indebtedness to the amount of the indebtedness being refinanced.
 -   H.R. 5378 -- To amend the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act to reauthorize the temporary mortgage and rental payments program.
 -   H.R. 5499 -- To reauthorize the HOPE VI program for revitalization of severely distressed public housing, and for other purposes.

 -   S. 23 -- New Urban Agenda Act of 2001 - A bill to promote a new urban agenda -- to amend the Internal Revenue Code to provide specified tax incentives to stimulate urban development; to allow a home buyer tax credit for principal residence purchases in specific zones or communities; to make homeownership assistance available to qualifying municipal employees and teachers; and directs the Secretary of HUD to study the feasibility of consolidating public and low-income housing programs into a comprehensive block grant system.
 -   S. 48 -- To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide tax relief for the conversion of cooperative housing corporations into condominiums.
 -   S.CON.RES. 52 -- A concurrent resolution expressing the sense of Congress that reducing crime in public housing should be a priority, and that the Public Housing Drug Elimination Program should be fully funded.
 -   S. 132 -- Low Income Housing Tax Credit for Native Americans Act - A bill to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide that housing assistance provided under the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 be treated for purposes of the low-income housing credit in the same manner as comparable assistance.
 -   S. 228 -- A bill to amend title 38, United States Code, to make permanent the Native American veterans housing loan program.
 -   S. 293 -- Home Energy Assistance Tax Act - A bill to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide a refundable tax credit against increased residential energy costs and for other purposes.
 -   S. 350 -- A bill to amend the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 to promote the cleanup and reuse of brownfields, to provide financial assistance for brownfields revitalization, to enhance State response programs.
 -   S. 399 -- A bill to provide for fire sprinkler systems, or other fire suppression or prevention technologies, in public and private college and university housing and dormitories, including fraternity and sorority housing and dormitories.
 -   S. 417 -- Homeownership Opportunities for Uniformed Services and Educators Act - A bill to amend section 203 of the National Housing Act to provide for 1 percent downpayments for FHA mortgage loans for teachers and public safety officers to buy homes within the jurisdictions of their employing agencies.
 -   S. 607 -- Homeowners Rebate Act of 2001-To amend the National Housing Act to require partial rebates of FHA mortgage insurance premiums to certain mortgagors upon payment of their FHA-insured mortgages.
 -   S. 652 -- Rural Rental Housing Act of 2001-To promote the development of affordable, quality rental housing in rural areas for low-income households.
 -   S. 677 -- A bill to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to repeal the required use of certain principal repayments on mortgage subsidy bond financing to redeem bonds, to modify the purchase price limitation under mortgage subsidy bond rules based on median family income.
