WASHINGTON (April 24) -
House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Billy Tauzin
(R-LA) today released the witness list for Wednesday´s full
Committee hearing on facilitating deployment of high-speed
Internet services.
The
legislative hearing - scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday,
April 25, at 10:00 a.m., in room 2123 of the Rayburn House
Office Building - will focus on "The Internet Freedom and
Broadband Deployment Act of
2001," a bill likely to be introduced today in the House of
Representatives.
