NFPA TO HOLD ANNUAL MEETING NOVEMBER 27-29, 2001 IN WASHINGTON, D.C.

New Annual Meeting will focus on membership value and feature a brand-new format to meet the needs of NFPA Members.

(Washington, D.C.) -- The National Food Processors Association (NFPA) will hold its new Annual Meeting November 27-29, 2001 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Combining the best elements of NFPA's Annual Conventions with a fresh approach to programming, the new NFPA Annual Meeting promises to address Members' needs through a series of exciting and informational programs. 

"We planned the Annual Meeting this year specifically to target the needs of our Members at every level.  From senior level executives to scientists and food technologists, there will be abundant opportunity to gain new information, perspectives and the latest updates, " said Mary Olsen, NFPA's Director of Meetings and Conventions.  "In addition, you will find out first hand what NFPA does for you and your company every day, and how to better use the services that are readily available to you at the Association."

·         Attend an exclusive policy issues briefing for senior executives at the Presidential Hall in the White House Complex, given by senior White House Administration officials.

·         Get an update on the latest studies in food safety and packaging.
