HARKIN TO HOLD HEARING ON
CLONING TUESDAY, JANUARY 22, 2002 WASHINGTON –
U.S. Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA), chairman of the Senate
Health Appropriations Subcommittee, today announced that
he will hold Senate hearings about the National Academy
of Sciences’ new report on cloning and legislation that
Harkin will introduce on Thursday to ban human cloning.
