HEADLINE: PRYCE TOOK RIGHT STAND ON MEDICAL RESEARCH

BODY:
I commend Rep. Deborah Pryce, R-Perry Township, on her recent vote against banning human cloning and her vote in favor of the research amendment. She was all alone in the Ohio Republican delegation in Congress in her courageous votes to allow human cells to be cloned for research purposes only.

I am very uncomfortable with Congress having the power to impose its own ideological and religious views on scientific research that has the potential to save lives.

I am not in Pryce's congressional district, but I believe that her constituents and our country are well-served by her conduct in Congress on this all-important issue and others, as well. We need and welcome her leadership.
