AMENDMENT DESCRIPTION:
Amendment allows peanut producers to obtain marketing assistance loans and loan deficiency payments through an approved marketing association of peanut producers or the Farm Service Agency.

AMENDMENT PURPOSE:
An amendment numbered 54 printed in the Congressional Record to add a new paragraph providing for options for obtaining marketing assistance loans for peanut producers.
