AMENDMENT DESCRIPTION:
Amendment prohibits the marketing of non-ambulatory livestock, or so-called downed animals, at intermediate markets and requires sick animals to be humanely euthanized.

AMENDMENT PURPOSE:
An amendment numbered 2 printed in the Congressional Record to add a new section regarding unlawful stockyard practices involving nonambulatory livestock.
